Ski Season 2019 – 2020

Poiana Brasov is the most popular resort in the country, located at the foot of the northern slope of the Postavaru Mountains and 12 km from the city of Brasov. Poiana was in ancient time hiking destination and winter sports. The first mention documented a local period from 1427. The skiers have climbed Postăvaru since 1895, and in 1906 in Poiana it took place first in the competition. In 1951, Poiana Brasov hosted the International Student Winter Games.

On the ski area of Poiana Brașov, on the Postavaru Massif, all the safety elements are mounted, all the work of preparing and welcoming the ski enthusiasts are ready and eager to be practiced.

A day of skiing starts from 150 lei for adults and 65 lei for children, and the program of cable climbing facilities is from 9am to 4pm.

Even if the ski slopes are not covered in the white layer of snow, the parts of the Postavaru massif can be crossed at the foot of mountain slopes, and the landscape I take care of is an extraordinary and full of positive energy.
